We have a continuing commitment at King’s Oak Academy to provide our students with a range of different learning experiences to promote our core values of Trust, Respect and Inspire, and to prepare them for life in modern Britain.
We provide all our students with the opportunity to participate in co-ordinated Academy Enrichment Days on five occasions during the academic year.
These days offer our students a wealth of enrichment activities to enhance their educational provision covering: PHSE education, spiritual, moral, social and cultural education, sex and relationships education, careers guidance and information, citizenship education and financial capability education. These days are delivered by academy staff as well as outside speakers and agencies, including the Police, Avon Fire and Rescue, Integrate UK and the South Glos. Safety Team.
The Enrichment Days are based on the core British Values and will take place on the following dates:
17th October 2017 – Mutual Respect - programme HERE
14th December 2017 - Positive Choices in Modern Britain – programme HERE
6th February 2018 - Individual Liberty – programme HERE

As part of our Enrichments Days programme we will be delivering statutory Sex and Relationship Education (SRE). We aim to provide your child with high quality SRE education delivered by our trained staff and outside agencies such as Brook Advisory Service and the NHS.
If you wish to withdraw your child from SRE Education please contact the Principal in writing.
