Responsibility for September Reception and Year 7 admissions to King’s Oak Academy for the academic year 2017-18 continues to rest with South Gloucestershire Student Access and Support Team.

For pupils wanting to join KOA after the start of the September term, applications should be made directly to King’s Oak Academy on the KOA In-Year Application Form (see link below). Where places are available they will be allocated based on the criteria laid out in the Admissions Policy. Where the school is full or oversubscribed, you may elect to remain on the waiting list and/or lodge an appeal. Further information about appeals can be found below.
All appeals for school places should be made on the KOA Appeals Proforma and sent directly to Miss Catherine Gillman at King’s Oak Academy. Appeals will be heard by an independent panel as soon as possible. You may appeal once in each academic year
