Welcome to King’s Oak Academy. We are an all-through academy educating young people from age four to 16, and a proud member of the Cabot Learning Federation, one of the south west’s leading multi-academy trusts. We admit students into Reception and Year 7 at the start of each academic year, with our Year 11 students carrying on to Post-16 studies as part of the Cabot Learning Federation’s Post-16 provision. As an all-through academy, whether a child joins in Reception or Year 7, staying with us until Year 13, they will receive a high quality education built upon our three core purposes of Trust, Respect and Inspire.

Through these core purposes we aim to work with parents, carers and the wider community to help our young people be ambitious for themselves, confident and responsible.

We have high expectations of our students, not only through their behaviour, but how they demonstrate our core purposes. Equally, our students can expect Trust, Respect and Inspire to manifest in all areas of the Academy. From a curriculum which gives students from Reception onwards the opportunity to learn to master core skills in every subject and inspires excitement, purpose, ambition and aspiration to teaching and learning which is built upon the best practice of both our primary and secondary experts, is challenging, stretches everyone and develops confident young people.

I am immensely proud to be the Principal of King’s Oak Academy; striving to make the Academy the natural school of choice in this part of South Gloucestershire.

Please take some time to browse our website and come and visit the Academy to meet the students and staff and you will see that we are well on our way to realising our vision for King’s Oak Academy: a place where students achieve excellent outcomes in a caring and stimulating learning community.
